“I try to source as much local and sustainable ingredients as possible,” he says about his approach to cooking. “All my fish is line caught. Everything we do here is in season.”
For Davis, creating the best experience for his dining patrons is of the utmost importance, as is giving back to the community.
“Anything we can possibly help with, we’re willing to do,” he says.
Davis has hosted fundraisers for the Alzheimer’s Association, Believing for Desi, and Big Hearts for Little Hearts Guild, among other local charities and has recently taken over as the lead restaurateur for the American Cancer Society, something he describes as a distinct honor.
“I have my dreams, I have my restaurant, and it’s time to maybe make someone else’s dreams happen," he says.
